A video making rounds across various social media platforms in Nigerian has shown a moment a young man was slapped and beaten by some young Nigerian soldiers.

The soldier was beading, slapping, and knocking the young man on the head, for reportedly complimenting one of the young female soldiers and telling she was beautiful.

Apparently, instead of being happy she was complemented for her God-given beauty, she took offended of the complement and started beating the young man.

Her colleagues joined her in the act, and took turn to beat and slap the young man, while one other was capturing the whole drama on camera.

The video which has now gown viral has sparked rage among internet users, who are left to ask and wonder if it was a crime to complement a soldier.
