A young Nigerian boxer has died from mysterious circumstances after competing in a boxing match with higher weight boxer that was paired to him by his boxing coach.

LatestNGnews.com gathered that the match was initially planed to be a training session, between the young boxer and the heavier weight boxer. But young chap wanted it to be a competition so they made it one.

The sad story and demise of the yet to be identified boxer, was shared by an IG user, @no_mercy_122. He/she also shared clips of a fight the young boxer participated in, which caption which reads;

We actually wanted to train together yesterday before he changed his mind…

You’re a warrior a king I will always remember you! @activeboxer1 you’re not dead your presence is just missing

Lindaikejisblog reported that an an eyewitness reached out to the publication and also gave the name of the coach as Alfa.
