An expectant mom has given birth to a baby boy onboard a flight to the United States, when his mom who had no idea she was going to have her baby sooner than her due date.

 

A Ghanaian media personality, Nancy Adobea Anane who shared the goodnews on Sunday, said that according to the mom, her baby was due late February,

 
 

She decided to be in the US, 1 month ahead, but she went into labour, 2 hours to landing but, and had her baby on Sunday January 30.

 

This wouldn’t have been possible without the assistance of Dr. Ansah-Addo, a Ghanaian practicing in the USA, who was aboard the same flight, Ghana to US.

 

Nancy added that the good doctor made himself available when the pilot called for assistance of medical personnel on board, as the woman was already having strong contractions.

 

With assistance from the whole flight crew, the baby boy was delivered 2hours to landing. Nancy shared the goodnews  saying;

 
 

On board @united Flight UA 977 today,a lovely baby boy was born. The baby Who was due late February decided to arrive 34,000 ft above sea level.

 
 

Dr. Ansah-Addo a Ghanaian practicing in the USA made himself available when the pilot called for assistance of medical personnel on board. With assistance from the whole United crew ,a bouncy baby boy was delivered 2hours to landing.

The flight was met on arrival by paramedics upon landing at the Washington Dulles international airport. The baby and his mother GG are currently under medical care.
