Young Lady, Chelsea Egoyibo Aronu, Raises Alarm After Police Extorted 80k From her While Going to Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos

A young Nigerian Lady, Chelsea Egoyibo Aronu, has raised a cry for help after some men of the Nigerian Police force extorted the sum of 80,000 naira from her. According to the young lady, the incident happened while she was on her way to catch an early morning flight at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos

Sharing the post on twitter on Thursday morning, @AronuChelsea (the victim of the police extortion), said she told the men that she was on her way to the airport and they were still heart hardened, until she did a transfer of 80,000 to one of the police officers by name Yahaya Kazeem Olatunji, before they allowed her to go. 

Her tweet at the time reads;

Let it be known that a certain police man collected the sum of 80k from me on my way to the airport this morning His name: yahaya kazeem olatunji !!!! Short, black , kinda old I couldn’t see his badge number he used his gun to cover it..

 

There were like 7policemen just by Anthony village, before the murtala airport Lagos Nigeria. The boss is tall, dark in complexion, fat with a big stomach he was not on uniform. They are holding a very Strict stop and search!!! He made me transfer the sum
