Media mogul Nduka Obaigbena, has been seen in trending video taunting  Nyesom Wike, the Rivers state governor, at a gathering with  Aminu Tambuwal, the Sokoto state governor.

In a video that is making the rounds on social media, Nduka Obaigbena Obaigbena who was seated with Gov Tambuwal and others at the funeral of his mum in Delta state could be heard mocking Governor Wike. He said ”Wike Lule” which means ”Wike was defeated”. His comment caused all those around him to laugh out loud.

 

Nduka making teases at Gov Wike came due to the Gov Wike has been at loggerheads with the PDP leadership with Gov Tambuwal after failing to win the party’s presidential primaries to Atiku Abubakar in May 2022, as well as not been picked as the running mate of Atiku despite being voted the most.

His grievances towards Tambuwal started after the Sokoto state governor who was his close pal, worked ‘against’ him to ensure Atiku secured the party’s presidential ticket.

 

 

 

Tambuwal who was also in the race for the party’s Presidential ticket, stepped down for Atiku and asked his delegates to give their votes to Atiku and not Wike who was also in the race to win the party’s Presidential ticket.
