Deji Adeyanju wondered the kind of people they both are when they can’t show their support for their brother and colleague, as he expressed disappointment with the attitudes of these two South Eastern governors towards Mr Peter Obi, the presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 elections.

Deji aired his opinion on Friday via a tweet he made on his verified handle, stressing that if Engr, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state was still in PDP, he won’t act like Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Okezie Ikeazu Deji that the Igbos have sacrificed everything for other zones. His tweet reads;
“PDP PRIMARIES: What kind of Igbos are this? Both Abia and Enugu governors are not supporting one of their own contesting for president. I’m sure if Umahi was still in PDP, he won’t act like them. Igbos have sacrificed everything for other zones.
“They voted Yorubas in the past, supported North & South-South, now that it is time to stand with them; even their own governors are not doing so.”
