The hair of a yet to be identified lady has been forcefully shaved by the operatives of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, in Benue state.

 

A clip of the incident surfaced online earlier on Wednesday morning caused massive stir online between netizens who were for and/or against the code of conduct of these operatives of the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service.

 

Some argued that what they did to the young girl is wrong, adding that the duty of the (Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service) is to protect the lives of farmers in the state following repeated attacks by bandits, and not go around shaving people’s hair.

 

Eyewitness accounts that the lady who had a gold colour spray on her hair was on the bike going to her destination, she and her bike man were stopped, she was asked her to come down, they made her sit on the floor, and then began to shave her hair.

 

 

The young lady was very co-operative till they finished and she stood up and entered the same bike and they left.

 

 

Some argued that the young girl brought the attention of the operatives of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service to herself, by the he mode of dressing and her tinted hair.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that Zubair Amoka, an administrator of Okene LGA in Kogi state, took to the streets to forcefully cut the dreadloclks of several youths in his constituency, as a way of fighting indiscipline and indecent dress code.
