During the #justiceforSylvester protest which was organized by Ijaw brothers of 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoi, the Ijaw youths  offered prayers of vengeance using schnapps and hot drinks in front of Dowen college.

 
 

The protesting youths called on Sylvester’s spirit to arise and ensure he gets justice and they called on the supreme powers and spirits of their ancestors to rise and fight this battle.

 
 

They staged a protest in front of Dowen college to express their grievance after the Lagos state government cleared five students and five staff of any complicity in the death of Sylvester.

 
 

Similar protest have been held before in front of Dowen College as well meaning Nigerians and the Ijaw Youth Council worldwide, seeks justice for the murder of the boy who was bullied to death last year.

 
 
 

Sylvester’s death last year caused a national outrage as many Nigerian called on the arrest and prosecution of those students and hostel masters who directly and indirectly bullied the innocent boy to death.

 
 

The mother of the deceased made similar prayer on Wednesday afternoon, when she called on G’d of vengeance to cut down the lives of those (and their supporters) who cut down short, the life of his.
