The team was knocked out of the quarter finals of the 2022 Under-20 Women’s World Cup by Netherlands on Sunday, after an outstanding group stage match where they beat Canada, South Korea and France at groups stages

 

 

The Super Eagles former media officer, Colin Udoh, who shared the photos on his social media pages said,

Earlier in February 2022, the Nigerian Super Falcons were seen in a trending video, stranded at the Abuja international Airport around 1am at night, after they won Ivor Coast 1-nill, to qualify for the AFCON women’s competition, and now the Super Falconets have faced the same treat after returning from Costa-Rica
