Super Eagles Beat Sierra Leone 2 – 1 to hand coach, Jose Peseiro his first win after 2 Losses

The Super Eagles of Nigeria has secured a 2-1 win against Sierra Leone, at MKO Abiola stadium, Abuja to hand coach, Jose Peseiro his first win since taking over the team, after loosing two friendly matches against Mexico and Ecuador last month. 



The Super eagles at on Thursday evening, June, 9, came behind after the Leone Stars opened the scoreline with a first half goal from Johnathan Morsay at the 11th minute of the game



The goal was quickly canceled by Alex Iwobi 5 minutes later and Victor Osimhen gave the Super Eagles their lead at the 41st minute of the game.


After the match which saw all of its goals in the first half, the Super Eagles is expected to boost their morale as they travel to Marrakech, Morocco, for another qualifying clash with the Falcons of Sao Tome and Principe four days later.
