There was a moment of jubilation today for the worshippers at the Sotitobire Praising Chapel as the church members were in a video which surfaced online today, dancing as rejoicing on the streets as their prophet and Daddyn G.O is realeased from Akure Prison today, 7th December 2021.

 

The self-acclaimed man of God was sent behind bars jailed last year before a Court of Appeal ordered his release earlier this month.

 
 

The Court of Appeal set Prophet Babatunde Alfa free on Friday, 3rd December after overturning a previous judgement of the Ondo State High Court.

 
 

The founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel had been sentenced to life imprisonment by the lower court.  Prophet Alfa was jailed last year over the mysterious disappearance of a 13-month child, Gold Kolawole from his church.

 

Gold, who has not been seen till date, was brought to the church service by his parents but was never seen again. Prophet Alfa church was subsequently razed down by a mob.
