After showing signs of throat and chest pain on Saturday 30th October while playing for his home team at Camp Nou, it is now confirmed that Sergio Aguero has been ruled out for three months after scans and diagnosis showed that the Argentine forward is down with with heart arrhythmia.
His ruling of matches for 3months was confirmed in a statement by the Barcelona officials which reads;
‘Sergio Aguero player has undergone a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Doctor Josep Brugada and will be out of action during the next three months as the effectiveness of treatment is evaluated.’
The 33-year-old Argentine striker, after been carried away from the field straight to the hospital, spent the weekend and Monday in a Barcelona hospital as extensive cardiac tests were carried out.
‘I am fine and in good spirits to face the recovery process. I want to thank everyone for so many messages of support and affection that make my heart stronger today.’
His Monday Night tweet read he was fine at the moment, but truly, no one wished that this would be how the Argentine will be making his debut for the starting XI at the Nou Camp after his summer transfer from defending Premier League champions, Manchester City.
