33-year-old Argentine and Barcelona forward, Sergio Aguero in considering retirement from professional football, earlier than he had planned due to his heart condition which is is taking a turn he doesn’t want. The former ManCity player who moved to Spain in last summer transfer window was forced off the pitch, after he collapsed while playing.

He was later diagnosed with Arrhythmia after spending the weekend at the hospital, and according to reports by a Catalan radio station, would be out of action for 3 months. But now as the heart condition is worsening, Sergio Aguero is now considering an earlier retirement.
El Chiringuito presenter Jose Alvarez Haya later reported that his heart rate was much higher than it should have been. Barcelona issued a statement following the incident that read: “The player Kun Agüero has undergone a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure by Dr. Josep Brugada.

“He is out and for the next three months the effectiveness of the treatment will be evaluated to determine his recovery process.”
Aguero said after he was taken to hospital: “I am well and in good spirits to face the recovery process. I want to thank you all for so many messages of support and love that make my heart stronger today.”
