Auguero joined the Spanish side on a free transfer from Manchester City after he had a good run with the former unbeaten English team, in the summer. He felt pain in his chest after jumping for the ball up against an opponent’s defender Victor Laguardia in the first half of their match

Aguero was taken straight to the hospital from the Camp Nou in an ambulance where he received a medical check-up after being replaced by Philippe Coutinho three minutes before half-time, and match later ended 1-1 draw with a 49th minute goal from Memphis Depay which was canceled by Luis Rioja’s 52th minute goal.

Catalan outlet SPORT reported that Aguero suffered from an abnormality of the heart’s rhythm, something they add he has suffered from before, while it has also been reported by others that his heart rate was significantly higher than normal.

He will therefore only be allowed to return once his situation is clear, which could now rule him out of their game against Dynamo Kiev. The Argentine striker first required medical attention shortly before half-time having complained of dizziness.
