Senate Asks President Buhari to Declare Bandits as Terrorists

The President of Nigeria rtd. Gne. Muhammadu Buhari has been called upon by the senate told to declare bandits as terrorists. The call was made on Wednesday by the Senate .

According to the Senate house, the bandits have for months ravaged the north, destroying lives and properties or innocent citizens yet the president hasn’t done a single thing in that manner and neither has a single arrest made.
In a more developing news, the Upper Chamber  of the house also called on the President to declare known leaders of bandits in the country wanted and track them wherever they are for arrest and prosecution according to the law of the nation.

It also urged the President to direct the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to urgently support all victims of banditry in Sokoto and other parts of the country.

These resolutions of the Senate followed its consideration of a motion titled: “Banditry in Sokoto State particularly Sokoto East Senatorial District” sponsored by Senator Ibrahim Gobir.
