The video was shared online by a traveler who recently came back to Nigeria after sometime abroad. The passenger was surprised to see an empty waiting area at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.
The airport, which usually has bodies milling around, was almost empty, save for about two travelers, and is because of the ever increase price of Aviation Fuel which made the airlines to increase price for airplane tickets, while some airline are almost shutdown.

the person filming is heard saying as she went round to show the decline in human activities at the airport.
Few days ago, LatestNGnews.com reported how CDQ who boarded a business class in the same Murtala Mohammed Airport, shared an empty business class flight which had only him on board while the rest of the seats remained empty throughout the flight.
