A CCTV footage has show the scary moment when about 30 National Youth Service Corp Members narrowly escaped death in Warri, Delta state, after a bus they boarded caught fire, on April 28, 2022.

 

 

Thanks to good luck, and thanks to the brave men around the vicinity who saw the bus as it caught fire from below, the lives of these youngsters were saved. The heroics of few truly saved the lives of many.

 

 

The Youth Corp Members who served in Warri, were on their way to Asaba for their Passing-out-Parade when the coaster bus they boarded stopped to buy petrol at a fuel station in the Warri City.

 

 

However, while the bus waited to get fuel, fire erupted from under the bus. The frightened students scampered for safety as they began to jump from the window. Many of the corps members sustained serious injuries during the chaos.

 

 

 

Thankfully no life was lost in the incident as all of them were successfully evacuated from the burning bus.
