
The government of Saudi Arabia has declared a 1 National holiday and celebration, after their men’s national football team Al-Saqour (Meaning Falcons), beat Argentina 1-2, in their opening group stage match at the ongoing world cup in Qatar.

Dailymail reported that all public and private employees, including students in Saudi Arabia will have the day off on Wednesday, November 2023, 2022, after their national team came from 1nil down to defeat Argentina 1-2 in one of the biggest shocks in World Cup history.
During the match, Saudi Arabia, the second-lowest ranked team in the tournament after Ghana, were down 1-0 by the 10th minute after Messi scored a penalty.
