A church Salvation Ministries’ Church in Okpanam, Asaba Road Delta State has reportedly collapsed during a Tuesday church program in the evening.

It was learnt that the building was is located in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state, was being used for the first time for a  Tuesday service when it collapsed.

At the time of filing this report, LatestNGNews.com could not confirm the accurate  number of persons trapped but there are reports that eight persons have been rescued unhurt, while four persons have been rushed to the Asaba Specialist Hospital.

However,  Vanguardngr reported that the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Patrick Ukah; the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Ononye Mordi, a team of Red Cross officers and firefighters are presently at the site on a rescue mission.
