Senator Rochas Okorocha, the senator representing the people of Imo West Senatorial district at the 9th Nigerian Senate, has met with president Buhari to formally inform the president of his intentions to contest for the president of Nigeria in 2023.

Sen. Okorocha met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House on Thursday and presented his ambitions.
The former governor of Imo State, told President Buhari that all the four legacy parties that make up the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should be carried along in the upcoming national convention of the party.

Okorocha, who currently represents Imo West in the National Assembly, added that he also told the President about the injustices meted to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Okorocha’s visit to Buhari comes after he slammed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for taking advantage of the Ndi Igbo to draw followers and loyalists to himself.
