Queen Elizabeth II to Make History as she Mark 70 Years on The Throne

Britain’s supreme monarch, Queen Elizabeth II is on the verge of making history as she marks her 70th anniversary of being on the throne



The queen who ascended on the throne on on 6 February 1952, at the age of 25, will mark her 70th year as the queen of England on 6 February 2022.


The celebration plans were formally unveiled in full by Buckingham Palace on 10 January 2022, with celebrations across the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Crown Dependencies, Commonwealth of Nations



She has since become the one constant in an era of rapid social and political change, a figurehead of modern Britain and a living link to its post-war and imperial past.


The Queen — who regularly tops surveys as the most popular royal — on January 23 flew by helicopter to her sprawling Sandringham estate in eastern England.
