SAN Festus Keyamo, the federal Minister of State for Labour and Employment, has berated Nigerians who have decided to relocate from Nigeria aka ”Japa”.

Posting a video of the massive protest staged by residents in Paris due to the soaring prices and cost of living, Keyamo argued that while other parts of the world are also suffering from global issues, Nigerians have decided to ”Japa” as if the country is isolated from the present global issues. Posting on his Twitter handle, Keyamo wrote;
”MASSIVE PROTESTS ON THE STREETS OF PARIS OVER SOARING PRICES. MEANWHILE SOME ARE STILL PLANNING TO ‘JAPA’ ABROAD, AS IF NIGERIA IS IN ISOLATION FROM PRESENT GLOBAL ISSUES. SOME WHO KNOW THE ISSUES ARE ALSO DECEIVING NIGERIANS AND PLAYING LOCAL POLITICS WITH GLOBAL ISSUES”
