The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) has announced that the body will launch an investigation on linesman Constantine Hatzidakis for reportedly elbowing Liverpool defender, Andy Robertson, during during a fierce 2-2 draw between Liverpool and Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened when the Scottish international and Liverpool’s left-back was making an attempt to speak to the official, television pictures seemed to show Hatzidakis raise his right elbow and make contact with Rebertson.
Skysports who is a major media outlet that covers the EPL, reported that Robertson alleged the official had elbowed him in the throat upon entering the tunnel at half-time, with Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson reportedly complaining to referee Paul Tierney.
