Pretty Mike Speaks on the Death of Sylvester Oromoni, Says we all Failed the Young boy

Lagos based Nigerian socialite, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu popularly known as Pretty Mike has broken his silence and given his 2 cents on the death of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, the Dowen College 12-year boy who died after he was beaten mercilessly by bully school mates for refusing to join their cult.

In his opinion, pretty Mike suggested that every Nigerian, is, or has been a bully in one way way or another and as such all citizens had a part to play in Sylvester’s death. He also blamed the nation’s poor health care system for their failure to diagnose what was wrong with the boy on time.

 
 
 

He blamed parents who buy violent video games for their kids and also people who bully others in the presence of their kids. Parents who let their kids watch wrestling also had their own share of blame for the death of the youngster.

In general, he blamed by saying that the entire society had a part to play in the death of Sylvester and the child’s blood is “on us all”.

Pretty Mike added that he hopes the call for justice for Sylvester will not end with just a hashtag, the same way the call for justice for Uwa and other victims of injustice has been forgotten.
