President Buhari has announced a 20-day medical trip to London, to see his doctors for undisclosed medical treatments or checks. This was revealed by one of his spokesperson, Femi Adesina, according to reports by Sahara Reporters.

 

In a statement which was released, his aide, it revealed that the medical trip will last for 3 weeks and the president is expected to be back to Nigeria on May 10th, 2022, and commission some projects.

 

The statement reads;

“President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja Saturday today for a 20 day vacation trip. He is expected to return to Nigeria on May 10th, 2022.

 

 

“At the end of the visit, President Buhari will be proceeding to his country home Daura where he will Commission developmental projects especially in the sector of education, healthcare and roads,” 

 

 

This would be the second medical trip to the UK that president Buhari will embark on this year, both within the space of barely 2 months.
