Nigerian controversial singer, Portable, has rendered a public apology after being disqualified from Headies awards, due to the death threats he made to co-nominees. He apologized just days after boasting that he has everything he needs to be happy, his beautiful wife, cars, fans who love him, and many more.

Recall that the Zauu crooner (real name Habeeb Okikiola), was nominated for ‘Rookie of the Year’ and ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’, but instead of shoiwng appreciation for the nomination, he went online and sis a video where he was boasting and threatening to kill his co-nominees, if he doesn’t emerge winner.
Another reason for his disqualification from the Headies Award, was because of a video he did few weeks ago, boasting that he was the founder of 1million boys and Ajah boys cults, which is a notorious cult groups that has been terrorizing several residents of Lagos state.
While Police investigation is still ongoing, the organisers of 2022 Headies Awards have now decided to disqualify him as a nominee at the forthcoming 15th Headies Awards.

Just days after his disqualification, and he claimed that several musicians pay money in order for them to be awarded, he did a u-turn, recoded a vide where he apologized to the organisers of the award and urged his fans to keep voting.
