The  Anambra Governorship election which was slated today in Ihiala LGA. The supplementary election was held in the local government area due unavailability of voters who refused to come out on Saturday due to several security threats in the state.

Voting has commenced in some wards in Ihiala local government area, however, INEC officials are yet to get to some wards in the local government

When LatestNGnews.com spoke to an INEC official about the election, out correspondent confirmed that the election went peacefully.
