Members of the parents and guardians forum of Down college Lekki on Wednesday night held a candle light vigil and procession in honour of the deceased Sylvester Oromoni Jnr who was was a student of the school.

Their matching tops had an inscription ”Dowen Parents mourn” which was boldly written as they expressed sadness over the death of Sylvester.
Following the suit of the Ijaw Youths Council who held a candlelight vigil for the youngster on Tuesday, and the concerned mothers who staged a sit-down protest in front of the college earlier on Wednesday morning, the Dowen college parents and guardian forum also demanded that the little boy gets justice.
President Buhari through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Wednesday, condemned the death of young Sylvester Oromoni, promising that anyone who is found to have played a voluntary or involuntary role in the death of the young boy must not be spared.
