Phil Foden wins Premier League Young Player of the Year award for the second season in a row

21-year old Manchester City player and England international, Philip Walter Foden, has won the English Premier League player of the season award. Foden beat his England team-mates including Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, Chelsea’s Mason Mount, and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice to win the award for the second time in a row.

Manchester City’s hopes to reteain the EPL title wouldn;t be complete without recognizing the efforts of the youngster, who played a crucial part for Pep Guardiola’s side this season. He matched his goal contribution return of last season with nine goals and five assists, with just one game left to play against Aston Villa.
