The Labour Party (LP), presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, and his running mate, Dr Datti Baba Ahmed, have visited Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.

 

Mr Obi, who is a former governor of Anambra state, and Datti Ahmed were both warmly received at the palace of the monarch, on Tuesday, September 2022. The visit is coming almost 24 hours to the official kick off of political campaigns.

 

 

Several of the persons present in the palace of the monarch, were thrilled to see the LP presidential candidate and his running mate, they chanted in unison, saying;

 

“Okwute! Obi!” youths in the Palace screamed as Obi made his entrance with the Ooni of Ife.

Campaigns in public by political parties would officially commence 28th September, 2022 as provided by Sec. 94(1) of the Electoral Act 2022. Watch Obi’s visit in the video below…

 

I’m glad Peter Obi confirm my take on vote buying. If they give you money, collect it and vote against them. It is your money they are given you. The message is simple and clear.
