Pastor Pastor David Ibiyeomie, senior pastor at Salvation Ministries, has built and handed over a Banham Methodist Academy, his alma mater, to the Christian faithful. The religious school is a two-storey building sited at the church premises, 

The clergyman built and handed it over to the Banham Methodist Church, located at #69 Aggrey road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Speaking at the dedication and official hand-over ceremony of the newly built academy, which took place on Tuesday, the 22nd of February, 2022 at the school’s location, pastor David Ibiyeomie also stated the importance of giving back to the society in charitable works.

The newly built academy comprises of the following:

sixteen(16) learning areas(classrooms), a store area, a head teacher’s office, reception area, two administrative offices and suites, one staff office, library, a crèche, a science laboratory, a home economics laboratory, thirty (30) VIP toilets(five on each wing), and a courtyard.

He also gave a one-year scholarship to sixteen(16) pupils present at the ceremony.
