Our Victory Over Buhari and Nigerian Government is Assured — Nnamdi Kanu Tells Biafra Supporters

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has sent a message of hope and goodwill to Biafrians all over the world, advising them to desist from any form of violence and disorderliness, citing that victory is near.



Nnamdi Kanu who appeared in court on the 18th of January, 2022, was in high hopes, continued to be optimistic that his case and the terrorism charges against him will soon end in praise and in his outmost favour.


Recall that LatestNGnews.com reported that the MAzi Nnamdi Kanu his fundamental rights case against the Nigerian Army and Federal Government of Nigeria, where the court ordered NA and FG to pay the sum of ₦1b in damages to the IPOB leader and offer him an apology


Mazi Nnamdi Kanu conveyed this message to the people of Biafra, via his counsel, Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who paid him a routine visit at the DSS headquarter facility in Abuja.



The statement reads partly:

“Kanu deeply appeals to Umu Chineke to avail themselves of the peace initiative presently ongoing and not to be distracted anymore.


He further implored all Umu Chineke to keep their eyes on the ball because enemies are struggling in vain to entrench disharmony.


“Onyendu reiterates that the ongoing interventions towards peaceful coexistence must be respected, encouraged and abided by.


His call for unity among the entire Umu Chineke at all levels, who believe in his peaceful message cannot be overemphasized.


“Further, Onyendu extends his warm regards to millions of his fans and followers who have equally remained consistently, resolute, and focused.


He is convinced that the present situation will only last a while, and he will emerge victoriously.”
