Operative of the Ondo State Ondo Amotekun Arrest Teenager whose name was given as Samuel Lucky Akpan for kidnapping four-year-old child for with the intetions of selling boy he kidnapped for the sum of ₦200,000.

 

Akpan after he was arrested said that he abducted the child at Alagbaka area of Akure, the Ondo State capital. by purposely hypnotizing the child by placing charms on his head. It was while he was taking the child to meet the buyer that he was apprehended by the Amoketun Corps. While Speaking to newsmen while he was being paraded, Akpan said he easily kidnapped the child because he is a friend to the boy’s family. I his words;

“The boy always come to play with me from his mother’s shop. I was already on my way to sell the boy for two hundred thousand naira, when I was arrested by some group of people.

 

” The man I wanted to sell the child to was already waiting for me as I placed a certain kind of leave on the boy’s head.

 

“If somebody places that leave together with some incantations on anyone, the person will not be able to say anything again. I haven’t gone far from the shop of the boy’s mother when I was nabbed by men of the Amotekun Corps.”

 

Chief Adetunji Adeleye who is the Commander of Ondo Amotekun Corps said said the toddler has been reunited with his famil while the 17 year old kidnapper Samuel Lucky Akpan would soon be charged to court.
