Omer Guven’s Dog Refuses to Leave his Master’s Graveside 1-week after his death. The rather heartbreaking photos shows a German Shepherd as the sad dog sat faithfully at his owner’s grave side, refusing to leave his master’s grave even 1 week after his death.

According to a news channel, – Olay53, the deceased Omer Guven, (the dog’s owner) moved to the district of Kaymakli in the northern Turkish province of Trabzon after losing his wife 12 in 2009 . Being a lover of pet, Omer began to take care of stray cats and dogs. 

 
 
 
 

Omer, 92, when he was alive, was a widely respected man and was regarded as an animal lover by the people around him. He first began to take care of a German Shepherd puppy 11 years ago, naming it “Fero”. Unfortunately, on 29th October, Omer became ill and was taken to the hospital, where he join his wife’s spirit

Fero kept watch over the coffin until the burial the following day. After attending the burial, Fero has since been lying on its owner’s grave and has refused to leave, frequently rubbing its head in the soil. Omer’s daughter Sevilay Surul said: “My father loved Fero very much.

 
 
 

“He also had an incredible love for my father. He was so sad over the loss of my father. “He didn’t eat or sleep for two days. My father loved all animals and kept them, but he had a special bond with Fero.”
