Arise and Shine Nursery and Primary School teacher, Mr Emeka Nwogbo has denied flogging one of the pupil in his class, 19-month-old Obinna Udeze to death. He admitted to flogging the child but maintained he flogged him as little as possible.

He argued that he’s innocent, and wasn’t the cause of the death of little Obinna Udeze, thus the death of the child remains a mystery.

Speaking to newsmen after a delegation of the state government visited the state police command today, Emeka said he flogged the late Obinna ‘like a baby’ and that the child was beaten because he pushed another child.

On that note, the Delta state police commissioner, CP Ari Muhammed Ali, says a post mortem will be conducted to determine the medical cause of death of the child.
