#NoWaterInEnugu has been trending online since Thursday following the difficulties faced of residents in various parts of Enugu to get access to water which can be used for domestic chores.

Pictures and videos shared online, shows long queues formed in various streets from different angles as people wait in lines for hours before they get to fetch water.

LatestNGnews.com reported that when one of the residents was asked what was going on, she replied saying

We’re not queuing for fuel, we’re not queuing for kerosene either,  we’re fortunate to find ourselves in where we’re queuing for water.

The queue when visualized, mimics that which was seen at several fuel stations across the country when there were rumours of scarcity of petrol.
