Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), has filled a new court suit against Attorney General of the Federation AGF, the Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami SAN and the Department of State Service DSS.

With this new suit which was filled on Monday afternoon and marked FHC/ABJ/CS1585/2021, it means that the on-going trail of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for treasonable felony and other charges which he has already pleaded “Not Guilty” to, that was filled against him by the FG has taken a new turn.
In the fresh suit just filed on Monday, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is seeking an order from the federal high court in Abuja to compel the DSS to allow him access to food, medical care and clothes of his choice, an order which was given to the Nigeria’s secret police on December 2 during an emergency court hearing, Justice Binta Nyako.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu filled this suit through his attorney, Barrister Maxwell Chibuike Okpara, on Monday, December 13, 2021, also applied for another order against DSS to allow him make arrangements for his food by himself at his own expense.
No date has been fixed yet for hearing of the suit.
