Nigerians In Abuja Stage Anti Invasion Protest

Some Nigerians residing in Abuja, have staged an anti-invasion protest against Vladimir Putin, asking him to let peace reign. This is coming after the Russian troops invaded Ukraine last week, which since then, has been escalating.



The protesters were seen carrying different placards, and chanted several songs one of which was saying “Putin, let there be peace”, “We are parents of Nigerians trapped in Ukraine”. They were also seen wearing T-shirts with the emblem “Stop the war”.



--CONTINUE READING BELOW-- gathered that the protesters, include parents, friends, and loved ones of Nigerians who’re stranded in Ukraine and those who were abandoned while attempting to flee Ukraine for saftey.



These protesters also lamented the horrific reports they’ve been receiving about their loved ones/wards being prevented from fleeing Ukraine to other countries such as Hungary, Poland and others.
