Several Nigerian have put to what can be referred to as a good use, the suspension of Twitter ban in Niger after a news by the EFFC was broke that one Mr Bolarinwa Oluwasegun, a fake Army General has been arrested in Lagos.

Nigerians did well to dig up a clip of Bolarinwa Oluwasegun shooting at Endsars prostesters on 20th October 2020. It was also alleged that Bolarinwa Oluwasegun at the time, was the president of Yoruba Youth Forum (YYF).

He was caught on camera by a reporter shooting at a crowd of #EndSARS protesters in Abule Egba area of Lagos on October 20, 2020. There are also reports that the reporter was “murdered” afterwards.

Bolarinwa Oluwasegun was arrested by the EFCC in connection to an alleged ₦270m fraud. Upon his arrest, he claimed that President Buhari Nominated him as COAS.

He also had in his possession a forged a letter of appointment as COAS purportedly signed by the President. He was arrested at his house in the Alagbado area of Lagos State on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, and will be charged to court as soon as investigations have been concluded.
