Nigerian couple whose names were given as Asiayei Enaibo and Emily Ekanpou, both from Delta has defiled the odds of nature and failed governments and hold their traditional marriage ceremony in canoes, due to the flood that has been ravaging their community for the past months.

The couple defied the flood currently ravaging Akparemogbene community and performed their traditional marriage rites.

The traditional marriage ceremony was held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Ayakoromo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state.

 

 

The couple and their guests took a boat to the platform constructed in the middle of the flooded community for the ceremony.
