A photo of Gafaru Buraimoh, the young man allegedly shot dead by a police officer dead at Happy Land Estate, Ajah today December 7.

 

An eyewitness claims that the young man who was out to purchase petrol, was gunned down by a police officer who has been arrested and detained. 

 

A tweet by the Police Nigerian Tribune and Vanguard News, confirmed that the police officer involved in the shooting has been disarmed and detained by the force,. The tweet reads;

 

Police officer detained for allegedly killing man in Ajah area of Lagos State, Following a shooting incident involving men of Ajah Division which resulted in the death of Gafaru Buraimoh of Happy Land Estate, Ajah, the Inspector behind the shooting, has been detained.

 

The police shot a young man named Gafaru Buraimoh. The people convened to find answers and the police started firing tear-gas at them (as usual). If you are going to work towards this direction, turn around and go home
