The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested one adult female and 5 others in a Lagos Island drug burst on Saturday, Feb. 26th 2022.

The agency also arrested a suspected illicit drug kingpin on Lagos Island, during the raid, the operation took place in the Patey area of Lagos Island on Saturday.

However, things took an aggressive turn when the drug runners revolted against the NDLEA operatives, there were exchanges of Gun fire and some lives were lost.

Names of the arrested suspects were later released by the agency, and they are; Mrs. Lawal, Ahmed Yisau; Solomon Alape; Olayemi Akinola; Salami Qudus; Bakare Rafiu; Rose Samson; Yusuf Rofiat, and Chukwudi Egon.
