A South African church, Nazareth Baptist Church, has reportedly carried out on her female members and issued certificates to the participant after the pastor tested them and found them to have passed the virginity test.

Some members and recipients of the certificates said that exercise is organized annually by the church as an effort to encourage chastity among the ladies in society. The event is done at the middle of each year, with a certificate issued, which is valid for 1year.
The virginity test is usually free for unmarried female members from 18yrs and above, but there are no confirmation if its mandatory. The church that organized the exercise has been identified as Nazareth Baptist Church is located at Ebuhleni, northern part of Durban in South Africa.

Female members who passed the test are given a white mark which signifies purity and chastity of the virgins. The certificate was signed by the Leader of Nazareth Baptist Church and the specialist who carried out the test. Photos shared online show the virgins smiling while posing with their certificates.
