Nigerian Afro-pop singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, made a challenge in a video where he called those who say they are his real friends to prove it to him by sending ₦1m naira each.

At first, many thought it was just a cruise, but things quickly took a huge turn-up after he shared his account number and called out several celebrities and socialites to answer his call.
He made the call when in a video where he referenced an old saying, “We Rise by Lifting Others” and claimed he’s done so many for others, including friends and strangers, sometimes even when he knows they’re just around him for money.

His called was quickly answered and several young and old celebrities and socialites sent him ₦1m Each. However, some sent more than ₦1m which some decided to make their donations anonymous.
