Veteran actress, Patience Ozokwor, has thanked her family, especially her kids after she won the Industry Merit Award at Saturday’s Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award.  #AMVCA9! 🏆🎉 

The mother and grand-mother shred her appreciation in a late night post she made on her official IG page on. Mama G, as she is popularly known, she relied on her talent, humility, word of mouth and trust because there was absence of social media when she began her acting career.  She wrote,

“LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD “When we started in the industry, there was no social media and so many other luxuries we enjoy now.

Progress was completely dependent on your talent, humility, word of mouth and trust. “I appreciate my colleagues who work tirelessly and often times without recognition.

“I appreciate my family who have always surrounded me with love and acceptance. My children sacrificed a lot and stayed long periods without a mother. She added that at some point, her daughter became her PA and Associate Manager.
