Achina women have taken to the street to protest against disgrace meted to a fellow woman in the community who was disgraced and paraded last week for allegedly using scx to kill her husband.

The lady whose name was later published as Mrs Ajuese Obiora, was also accused of cheating and infidelity in marriage, adding that she killed her husband on the bed so she can have the free liberty to be sleeping with other men.

Before now, Mrs Ebele Obiano, the former first-lady of Anambra state condemned the act and described it as barbaric. Reports also read that the state police has also arrested on traditionalist and about 4 to 5 accomplices who spearheaded the act of parading the woman naked.

In additional development to show total disapproval of the act meted to a fellow woman, the Achina women took to the streets on Wednesday to protest against such act.

The protesting women said that no matter what a woman did, it is totally wrong to parade a woman totally naked on the streets, adding that such acts shouldn’t been seen in 21st century.
