Award wining Nigerian singer and performer,  Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as BurnaBoy, has made a shocking declaration saying that he is the highest paid artist in the history of African Music.

Oluwa Burna made this declaration in a tweet posted on his verified handle on Saturday morning, adding that money doesn’t satisfy him too. In his tweet, the Twice as Tall crooner said;

 

 

 

I said money doesn’t satisfy me and it’s my Truth but it Doesn’t change the fact that I’m the highest paid artist in the History of African music. Believe it or not.

 

 

 

It is no doubt that the Yoruba’s top the Nigerian music industry, but this claim, of course, sparked up controversy amongst various fans these popular Yoruba musical artist, including Davido and Wizkid.

 

 

It is worth mentioning that Nigerian actress, Nkechi Blessing, has advised fans of these top artists in Nigeria to stop making comparison among these top artists, so that it won’t easily sway the minds of both the artists and the fans, the real purpose behind making music.
