A Nigerian father, whose name was given as Mike Ekunno, has shared a copy of the letter he wrote and addressed to the Federal Government College, Abuja in 20218, after his son who was a junior in the school reported several cases of bullying to him.

As a parent, Mike Ekunno said he somehow understands what the parents of Dowen colleague student, Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. are going through citing that his son went through a similar ordeal.
On that note, Mike posted a copy of the letter he wrote to the school principal, and saying that withdrawing his son from the school was necessary.

He said he did this to ensure that his son remains alive for him, pointing out that he had to withdraw the child from the school despite having a promotional exam to write. In his words;
”Copy of my letter to the school authority over the bullying of my son. I finally had to withdraw him without sitting for his promotional exam to keep him alive.”
The letter he wrote in 2018 reads in part
“My son, Ifesinachi, 10, is an intelligent is a bold and a free-spirited boy. His mother and I are shocked at the transformation of his personality since enrolling in your school at the start of this academic session.
He has suddenly turned timorous, scared and fidgety, apart from losing about 10kg from his entry level of 50kg…”
