Men Feel Threatened When Their Wife is Richer than them, and That’s one of the Reasons They Become Abusive and Violent — Actress Charity Nnaji

Nigerian actress, Charity Nnaji, has said that several men feel threatened when their wife is earning more money than them, citing that an uncontrolled feelings of such emotion is what leads such men to become violent and abusive towards their wives.

 

Charity was making these statements following the news surrounding the death of a talented gospel singer Late Osinachi Nwachukwu, who several reports from credible sources have said that she suffered a prolonged physical abuse by her husband, which led to her sudden death.

 

She said the “African mentality” in men make them feel their wives are intimidating them when the wives are richer than them, and she advised such men to learn and accept it when their wives have more money than them.

 

She also added that it is ok for a person’s wife to help them and pickup with the family responsibilities when the man is struggling. In her words, Charity Nnaji said;

 

Sometimes, its usually a very big threat to an average African man ,for his wife to be richer than him.men you must learn to accept this fact .

 

 

Grace may depart from you it’s ok for your wife to pick up and continue the race .. but the African mentality in this men will always make them feel the woman is intimidating them with their position or wealth.. so the only way they maintain their stands is to be violent.. it’s. Just a pity ,so where is the help mate God talked about
