Nigerian lawyer, Ani Nnamdi Chris, has shared a word of advice to Nigerian youths who spend so much money to organize an expensive weeding and marriage ceremonies.

 

He made this call address to youths who know within themselves in all sincerity, that cannot afford expensive weddings, to shun the peer pressure that comes with things like this.

 
 

Narrating how his weddings and marriage ceremony went, he shared a post on twitter, which reads; “Marriage no cost, na you wan wed like ritualist”

 
 

 

He said, “I got married on Friday at the Port Harcourt Marriage Registry. I paid a statutory fee of ₦15,500 and additional ₦5,000 for what the Registrar called ‘drink money’.
